  • This is place to get a quick and reasonably priced meal. You can even mobile order your food to get it more quickly. I had the Ribs and Chicken Bowl and it was delicious and filling. The salad that comes with this meal had a sweet and spicy hot dressing on it that really added to the flavor of the dish. The chicken was very good and went well with the white rice. The ribs were tender enough to be cut with the plastic cutlery. My wife had the same meal and she enjoyed it too. This was our first time eating here and we weren't disappointed. Now we have another favorite place to eat in the park.

  • One of my favorite walk-up places to eat anywhere in all of the Disney parks. Such amazing native flavors, really just very good quality and flavorful. Fantastic value for what you get compared to many places in the parks, and quite a bit of food. I always get the #1 chicken and shrimp bowl, with seasoned rice, fresh tomatoes and pickled cucumbers, and tzatziki sauce. So good!!

  • The food was very good. The seasoned shrimp were well-balanced and not too salty. The spiced yellow rice was excellent. I really enjoyed the bowl. All the tables are outside, but they have fans and complimentary iced water.

  • Compared to my other meals at different locations across all four parks, this one didn't stand out as much. Doesn't mean it wasn't good. On the contrary, the kabobs were well done. My only reservation was the pita - it was rock hard. Guess microwaved or heated but served much later. Other dishes were fine - jollof rice was nice!

  • If I knew the name of this group I would create a site just for them. These men played their hearts of but they were seating profusely. Having to wear these polyester outfits in 80° weather with high humidity was unbearable but here they are. I cant imagine how much they get paid but if you see then and stop to listen give them a nice tip. They certainly deserve it.

  • Yummo! The rice bowls are so good here! So much flavor and not expensive. The watermelon lemonade was delicious. I didn't try the desserts but the little cakes looked yummy too. A "must go" to eat in Animal Kingdom!

  • An African Themed Market With Good Food and Drink The Animal Kingdom Theme Park is divided into several smaller themed parks within its boundary. We spent quite a bit of time in Africa and found this great little place for lunch. Their menu is quite expansive with many common food items and some of them have been changed up with African spices and flavors. We were in Africa, so we wanted the tastes of that land and we got them. My wife had the Chicken Caesar Salad ($12.99). Fresh crisp romaine lettuce tossed in a Caesar dressing with tomatoes and grated Parmesan cheese, then topped with a nice portion of chermoula-marinated chicken. The spices for the marinade lent a warm, yet bold and slightly acidic flavor to the chicken. Not at all spicy hot. The portion size is large. She finished all the chicken, but left some of the lettuce. A very good value. Beef and Lamb Kofta Pita ($13.49). I think this is the African version of a gyro. The meat is a combination of beef and lamb, not heavy on the lamb. The same chermoula spices as on the chicken. A nice portion of meat on a warm, soft pita topped with a tasty tzatziki sauce. It was served with crunchy house-made potato chips. Chicken and Shrimp Rice Bowl ($15.99) Chermoula-marinated chicken and peri peri-marinated shrimp served on top of a west African savory tomato based slightly spicy jollof rice with another African specialty - kachumbari tomato and onion salad, topped with tzatziki sauce. The entire dish was really enjoyable. There is a covered outdoor eating area directly across from the market where you can dine in the shade. Be adventurous, give it a try.

  • Hidden gem. The cheesecake was so good. I was shocked -- mango passion fruit. I do think they could have left off the Costco style frosting because it's so good on its own. Even the crust is good. Watermelon lemonade was refreshing. Again. Shocked. Because it's made with minute lemonade I was expecting really sweet. But it wasn't. The lamb kafta is yummy. Grab napkins because it leaks. And tons of tables. You're not stuck holding food while elbowing people away.
